Where have you beeeeeeen?
Hi ladies!
I appoligize for my 'leave of absence' - I just really wanted to enjoy the rest of my summer and not be spending it on a computer (don't hate me)!
I decided to take a break from my readings and do a blog post since I haven't in a while. There's an annoying child in the showroom right now so I'm trying my best to concentrate haha!
Let me fill you guys in with what's new in my life! PS: be prepared for a lot of reading OOPS!!
Anyyyyyyyyyways.. I said sayonara!!!! to Summer 2012! I was able to spend a lot of time with my boyfriend, friends and family, and breathe before the storm - that 'storm' being school. My fondest memories of S'12 were:
Cotty life - I went to Blue Mountian twice this summer, once with friends and once with family! I love the cottage life, I don't think there's anything better than hanging out with a drink in hand and just enjoying peoples company. I'm not the kinda girl who needs expensive events and bottle service to make me happy!
Benny - My family got a new car! Woop woop! Having four drivers and two cars was a definite challenge so we had to expand! 'Benny' is what my sister named the car because its a Mercedes-Benz B200 *PLEASE do not let the brand of car fool you, we bought it used and we bought it for the car itself, not the name :)
Cinzia and John's wedding - My GodSister got married! I love weddings, and although theirs was quickly planned, it was amazing and we all had a blast! I'm so exicted for them because not only do they both have the new titles of husband and wife, they'll soon add mommy and daddy to the picture! Yay for baby Jaxon.
Day dates - Mike and I went to Medieval Times and had a blast!! We're both kids at heart so we really enjoyed it! We ate with our hands, took silly pictures, and cheered for our team! Lets go Red and Gold! We also visted the ROM and the Science Center! I had some family from Italy come to Canada for a month and visit, and we also took them around to different sites and resturants! Mike and I finished the last couple weeks of summer off with a baseball game (Jays vs Yankees) for our year and a half anniversary!
Final kegger - I ended the summer off with a BBQ and kegger at my house with a bunch of my friends! I can now see why keggers are so popular because the beer is endless. Even when we returned the keg the guy said that it was half full! It was nice to spend one last night with everyone and not having to worry about working on assignments or readings that had to be done.
Goodbye and goodnight Summer 2012 - it's been a slice :)
Next on our program: For those of you who are wondering, my new job is in a school!! Working at a Before and After Program - basically responsible for watching the kids who need to get dropped off earlier and picked up later than regular school hours! I found the ad for the position on KiJiJi (weird huh?) and literally, before I knew it, I was employed! The hours were hard to get used to in the begining - I have to wake up at 5:45 AM. Never thought I'd see the day I'd be driving to work before 7 am! But I love what I do and I love that I was fortunate enough to find a position working somewhat in my feild - Teaching! I'm exicted to spend more time with the kids and my co-workers and getting more experiance for my future! *snaps for me*
Last but not least, school! It makes me exicted to say that I had my last First Day! I can't believe 3 years of University have gone by. I just want to graduate and get my life on track already!!!!!!!! Jeeze haha I know it'll be hard to jumpstart my career right away but I know with a degree under my belt and the begining of teachers college, I'll feel more on track.
And fin. That is basically the last 3 months my life in a nutshell! Glad everyone is up to speed (including myself!!) I hope you weren't too annoyed/bored reading my post! I'd love to hear feedback so leave any comments you'd like.

Dreaming of Fall..
Now, don't get me wrong, I do love Summer. The fact that I'm off school for 5 months really does float my boat, and the weather isn't bad either (sometimes). But Fall has to be my ultimate favourite season. I love everything from the colours to the temperature and, most of all, the clothing! Here I've posted some pictures of looks I'll definitely be rocking this fall. My style can be best described as: comfy, casual and cute! I looooove my leggings and slouchy sweaters! That is basically a look I go for during school days because I look appropriate but am comfortable at the same time!
I posted some inspirational Fall looks below to try and show you guys what I'll be looking for to purchase and wear this fall!
So here are the pics via Pintrest - and if you haven't, follow me on Pintrest! My link is on this page to the right!

Arm Candy
Hi girls! I love reading other bloggers/YouTubers jewelry and accessory hauls! I have a weakness for bracelets, rings, and earings! I thought I`d show you guys some of my favourite pieces, what I wear on the daily and how I wear them!
I took these pictures at work, so don`t make fun! BTW: I am, in no means, trying to brag! Just trying to show you all how I style my favourite pieces of jewerly/arm candy! All of the pieces below have either been gifted to me or purchased by myself.
Here is a look at my arms (duh) so you guys get an idea of how I stack my jewelry! I`m a huge fan of stacking and mixing different colours and styles.
Now for the rings!
Thank you guys so much for reading;
Hope this wasn't too long!

Left arm
Right arm
Right hand
I`ll break down the pieces of jewelry with close up pictures! (again don't mind my chunky fingers and weird pictures lol)
Top: Skull shamballa-style, Over the Rainbow
Bottom: Mini peach shamballa, Cupido
I picked up the skull bracelet last night in Yorkville! I've seen this piece at another store (Honey) and it was double the price, so when I saw it, I had to buy it! Over the Rainbow was having a really good sale! A lot of their jewlery, bags, and clothing were 'buy one at 50% off" and "buy two or more at 70% off"! The peach shamballa was a present from Mike and comes in a bunch of different colours. I liked the smaller style so I could pair it with other jewelry!
OMG my fingers are huge
Both of these braceletes were made by yours truly! I've found a new liking in making 'filler' pieces as I like to call them. Both are strung on clear strechy string and took me about 5 minutes to make! I purchased everything from Michaels Craft Store and were very cheaply priced!
One of my favourite pieces has to be my Pandora bracelet. I love how every charm reminds me of someone/something and I see it as a memory piece. The bracelete itself is the tan leather charm bracelete, and I have def overfilled mine! (The lady from pandora reccomended 4-5 charms; I have 11).
From L to R:
Forget Me Knot, Italy Boot, Teal Murano, Angel, Christmas Tree, Evil Eye, Snowman, Pink Flower, Best Friend Scroll, Red Hearts, and Lots of Love.
Top: Tiffany & Co
Bottom: Links of London, Holts
The Tiffany chain bracelete was my grad gift from my parents, which I bought in New York! It was my one and only purchase from Nw York (Btw everyone needs to go to the 9 storey Tiffany store in New York.. I died). The bottom bracelete was gifted to me from my parents for my 19th birthday! Overtime I've added three charms - a 'C, a heart, and a flip flop! I love pairing these two together with the Pandora bracelete.
Now for the rings!
Left: Adjustable ring, Over the Rainbow
Middle: Initial ring, Etsy
Right: I love you ring, Tiffany & Co
Besides the ring from Over the Rainbow which I purchased yesterday, I wear these rings everyday! The M ring was purchased of Etsy by an amazing craftsmaker! Check out her Etsy page, I listed it below. I saw a YouTuber with a similar ring with her boyfriends initial and I melted (clearly had ot do the same lol), so for those of you who are wondering and don't know my name, the M is for my boyfriend. As you can see in the above picture, I pair the initial ring with my Tiffany ring that I got for Christmas from the B! Even though I have fat fingers, I still love rings haha.
Thank you guys so much for reading;
Hope this wasn't too long!

What's in my purse?
Hi guys! Thought I'd try something different today. Since I'm trying to base this blog off of stuff that would usually be done on YouTube, my first task is to attempt a 'What's in my purse?' blog! I'm sure this would be a lot easier in a vlog form haha but like I said, it won't happen.
So here is my take on the tag! Let's get into it:
I love this purse for summer! It's a cream quilted style purse from Aldo with gold hardware. The straps are half chain, half the same quilted material on the bag. Intertwined with the chain is this really cute floral silk material and I love how it gives the purse a little pop of colour. The purse closes with a zipper - I've had bad experiences with purses with an open concept, and I like how I can zip this closed and not worry about anything falling out!
My wallet is from Coach and I've had it for like three years. I have the basics in there - debit card, Visa, drivers licence, student ID and whatever else I'd need to keep in there.
This black and gold small pouch is where I keep a few essentials. Emergency stuff like extra feminine products, medicine, and deoderant. I also keep about 100 lip products, ticket stubs, hair ties, and anything else thats small enough to get lost in my whole purse!
Sunglasses, a random headband and necklace, iPod.
Keeping sanitary - hand wipes, two hand sanitizers from Bath and Body Works, Kleenex.
Gum, my EOS lip balm, travel brush, hand cream, and my Travalo.
Cream: Warm Vanilla Sugar from B&BW
Travalo: Viva la Juicy
What do you keep in your purse? Leave it in the comments below!
Thank you so much for reading :)
Christina xx
