If I was a genie..

If I was a genie..


I would snap my fingers and change out of these horrible uncomfortable work clothes and into one of these 5 options! I love baggy shirts and structured pants and/or leggings. And when all else fails, PAJAMAS!!
 
Outfit 1 - a perfect baggy T and a floral jeggings. Great for those days when you wanna be comfortable yet look presentable
 
Outfit 2 - another baggy sweater with a pair of jeans. Look for jeans with a bit of give to them so you don't feel like you're walking stiff!
 
Outfit 3 - my go to outfit! Long sleeve baggy sweaters and leggings. Perfect for school, movie dates, or days doing homework (PS: make sure the sweater covers your butt!!)
 
Outfit 4 and 5- PJ's that are baggy baggy baggy is the way I roll during winter months! When the weather heats up, T's and shorts are perfect!

Perfect Peplum..




But who isn't a fan of peplum? I feel like it's such a flattering look for any size?

Here I threw some pictures onto my Polyvore board (check the sidebar for my link!!!) and invisioned some outfits to tie in another hot trend - Peplum!

First I paired this printed peplum top with a pair of plain highwaisted shorts and a casual shoe for an everyday look - great for shopping or errands!

Next, a simple black peplum top with a beautiful turqoise floor legnth skirt! Great for a special occasion or a date, pair with a flat shoe to avoid trips and/or falls and you have a pefect trendy outfit!

Last, a peplum jacket in the prettiest colour I've seen! Throw this over a simple flowy dress for work or a meeting and you've incorporated two trends - the little black dress and a peplum jacket! I paired this look with tan wedges to avoid colour blocking (the jacket is too pretty to tone down) but you could also pair this look with flats or sandals for a shopping day!

Not only are peplum tops in style, dresses are a perfect way to rock the trend as well! Here I chose a plain black peplum style dress with lace detailing, and paired it with any statement shoe. Beside, a beautiful blue shimmery dress, peplum of course. Pair this stand-out dress with any black shoe.

Trend alert: sneaker wedges



Here are three different ways to rock this seasons hottest trend - the sneaker wedge! Not only are these shoes perfect for dressing up any outfit, they have the comfort of a sneaker and a wedge heel!

The first look is great for a day of shopping with the girls or running errands. The purple sneaker with the gold stud detailing adds something different to the typical t-shirt and shorts look.

The second look can be worn on a date, or even a night on the town. The black sneaker will be easy to macth and is a little bit dressier than the other shoes because it's kind of hard to tell that it's an actual sneaker!

The last look is the most verstile, as any outfit that has jean involved can be dressed up or down! The pop of colour in the wedge allows for the outfit to stand away from the plain blue jean. Rock this outfit to work or to lunch!

Wishing for summer..

Dreaming of summer..



Hi ladies! Long time no blog! 
     Had an interview today and really made me miss blogging and summer! The sun is shining today and made me dreammmmmm of summer and what is to come! Here are some outfits that scream summer to me - most of the links are down below and although some of the items are quite pricey, there are many dupes out there!

1. The first outfit is perfect for a day of shopping or an ice cream date! The high wasted studded shorts are super causal but the studs give it something original! I love this blouse because it's something that can be worn above or tucked into the shorts. Super light and flowy for the hot summer weather. This outfit can be dressed up or down, so I gave two shoe choices! Simple black wedges add a fancier end to the look for a day date, and the studded flats are simple and great for shopping!

2. This second outfit is perfect for a summer office job, interview, or date night! The top is a flattering cream-coloured peplum lace style, and goes great with the long leather skirt! I love mixing patterns and textures - it makes a creative and statement outfit! The shoes are gorgeousssss and adding a pop of colour as a shoe is what summer is all about! You could definitely add flats and a blazer to this look, but I loved the classiness of the long skirt and high pumps! 

3. The last outfit is something I usually rock on summer nights at the park or mini putting. Long baggy shirts are my weakness and can still be worn in the summer ladies!! Pair the jumper with a pair of high wasted shorts and flats and your good to go! Super comfy and cute. I paired two shoe options that can be great for the look; again with that colour pop! No matter the weather, it can still be warm for when those cool summer nights hit or theres a breeze on a hot day!
